The fifth season “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” started on Tuesday evening. The moderators were able to win at the premiere.
Joko Winterscheidt (43) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (38) competed against their home broadcaster again on Tuesday evening to gain 15 minutes of prime time broadcasting time. The moderators lost 15 of 28 editions of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”, as ProSieben calculated before the first duel. But what about after the season opener? Moderator Steven Gätjen (49) was able to congratulate his colleagues at the end.

The moderators were able to win the first two games and thus gain two advantages for the final. In the outdoor game Winterscheidt successfully competed in a challenge in a scary house with Matthias Schweighöfer (41). In the third game, the moderator and colleague Heufer-Umlauf lost to the two ProSieben representatives Stefanie Giesinger (25) and Sophie Passmann (28).
Game four, five and six then went to the duo again. The two mastered the final match just as brilliantly and took the victory home with them. They have earned 15 minutes of broadcasting time next Wednesday and do not have to accept ProSieben’s penalty. The moderators should have played advertising gnomes for ProSieben for a week and could have been seen in clips before and after each advertising break.
