Could Klaas Heufer-Umlauf and Joko Winterscheidt triumph on Tuesday evening at “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”?

The current season of “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” is for the two presenters and show aces Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) have been quite successful so far. As is well known, they were able to steal a whole day of broadcasting from their employer in April. On Tuesday evening (May 7th) the duo took on the latest challenges and games. Could you win 15 minutes of airtime this time, redeemable on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben?

Joko and Klaas rush from victory to victory

Imaginative games and challenges also awaited Joko and Klaas in episode five of the current season of “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben”. The challenges were presented in entertaining clips by ProSieben cleaner Sabine, whose explanations moderator Steven Gätjen (51) regularly had to clarify again. However, that didn’t detract from Joko and Klaas’s success.

The duo gained an advantage in the first game “Forwards/Backwards”. The aim here was to carry out individual tasks such as parking a golf car or correctly spelling the name of ProSieben presenter Aiman Abdallah (59) both forwards and backwards – an ease for Joko and Klaas.

For the next challenge, presenter Gätjen welcomed the musicians Lary (37) and Álvaro Soler (33) to the Munich studio. In the game “Cover versions that the world doesn’t need”, the aim was to guess extremely distorted pop hits. Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf also triumphed here.

Can Joko and Klaas stop the Snowpiercer Express?

Things got particularly complicated with the next game, “Snowpiercer Express”. The duo had to stop a train outside the studio and fight their way from the end of the chain of vehicles to the locomotive. The two also mastered this task with ease, and so it was: three games, three wins and three advantages for Joko and Klaas. “Nothing can stop them today, they are in top form,” said moderator Steven Gätjen.

Difficult final brings defeat

The duo also triumphed in game four “Fail Attempts” with opponents Paul Janke (42) and Axel Stein (42) and in game five “Shadow Games”. Even the former “RTL Saturday Night” stars Esther Schweins (54) and Wigald Boning (57) couldn’t stand up to Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf when it came to guessing the terms. With five advantages and only one defeat in the sixth game we went into the final. What should stop Joko and Klaas?

The finale “The Coriolis Force”, in which the duo had already failed in the season opener, once again proved to be too powerful a final opponent. The two had a total of 23 extremely strong attempts. Now they were faced with the task of throwing a tennis ball back and forth to each other, placed on a beam that was rotating around its own axis at high speed. That didn’t work. Visibly marked by the strong turn, Heufer-Umlauf and Winterscheidt had to admit defeat to their employer.

As a punishment, the two of them have to dub episode five of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” in a Rhenish and a North German dialect. Fans of the duo can watch the result on Joyn and on Sunday (May 12th) on ProSieben, like the private broadcaster on X (formerly Twitter). The grand finale of the current “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” season will take place next week.
