Joko Winterscheidt: The moderator is playing for his own job

Joko Winterscheidt gets a new show on ProSieben. The special thing about it: In "Don't steal the show from me" he fights for his own job.

The presenter Joko Winterscheidt (41, "The G stands for Gurki") is known for large betting stakes in his programs, but now he goes one step further: As ProSieben announced, Winterscheidt will be in the new quiz show with the working title "Don't steal from me the show "throw its own job in the balance. The winner of the evening will then moderate the following edition and can even redesign it according to his ideas. Winterscheidt himself will then only vie as a candidate to get his job back.

For this, three celebrities and a viewer will try in quiz rounds to leave the television studio as the winner. "Maybe this is really the stupidest show idea I've ever had, because maybe I'll only host my own show once?", Winterscheidt is quoted as saying. But he will only take care of that when the time comes. The recordings will already take place in November 2020 in Berlin, due to the Corona requirements, only in front of a small audience. "Don't steal the show from me" will be broadcast in spring 2021.
