Singer Jon Bon Jovi, 62, has been married to his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley, 61, for 35 years and has four children with her. But during his marriage he “wasn’t always a saint,” the musician admits.

Does Jon Bon Jovi admit to infidelities?

On April 29, 1989, Jon Bon Jovi tied the knot with his Dorothea, whom he had met at school, during a tour with his band “Bon Jovi” at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The couple, who are still happily married today, will be celebrating their anniversary in a few days. But just before their 35th wedding anniversary, Jon Bon Jovi reveals that they would never have reached this milestone if Dorothea hadn’t been so tolerant. “It’s all these wonderful clichés of a rock star,” he admits to the British Independent. “It’s about never lying about being a saint, but also about not being stupid enough to mess up family life.”

In the TV show “Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway There,” the rocker also hints that he has been with a hundred women in his life. “I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star. I’m not a saint. I’m not saying there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good!” admits the 62-year-old, However, he then relents: “But if you think that I will ever risk anything because I believe that the narcissist in me was real? How stupid of me. What excesses does a man need to fuel this fire? It’s simply not worth it.'”

Marriage to Dorothea Hurley has lasted for 35 years

His marriage to Dorothea lasted throughout this long period – thanks to their “mutual admiration” and because they were “lucky to have grown up together,” said the “Living On A Prayer” interpreter. But he admits that it is also thanks to his wife, who brought a certain level of “tolerance”. In his song “Bed of Roses” in 1993, the singer hinted at experiences during a tour that he regretted.

Childhood experience kept him away from drugs

The musician also spoke about another cliché: drugs. He said he was never interested in taking narcotics after an eye-opening childhood experience. “It was smoking something that was laced with something else, and I remember being out of body high and thinking, ‘I don’t like this. I don’t feel good about it,'” Jon Bon Jovi says. He is glad that this moment scared him at the time and in this way saved him from something worse.
