Jon Bon Jovi, 62, isn’t sure if he’ll be able to go on tour again soon. The musician had vocal cord surgery about two years ago. Apparently he is still not completely healthy. He explained in an interview with the radio station “Mix 104.1 Boston”.that he is still recovering and cannot confirm whether he will be touring with his band for the upcoming album “Forever”.

It’s his desire to go on tour again, “but I’m still recovering from major surgery,” said Jon Bon Jovi. The singer underwent a procedure in 2022 after one of his vocal cords “atrophied,” he previously revealed.

Jon Bon Jovi misses touring life

The musician further explained in the interview that he was on the mend and had taken the time to record one song a day for the album. But it was “my need, my wish, my longing to be able to play two and a half hours a night on four evenings a week for months,” Bon Jovi told the radio station. “And so I’m working toward that goal.”

The band Bon Jovi, which has been in existence for 40 years, recently announced their new studio album “Forever”. It is scheduled to be released on June 7th. The first single “Legendary” has already been released. Bon Jovi wrote about the new album on Instagram: “I’ve been waiting for this moment.”

Wedding at Bon Jovi is coming up

But the musician is probably not just looking forward to the new album. Jon Bon Jovi also has reason to celebrate in his private life. His son Jake Bongiovi, 21, is engaged to actress Millie Bobby Brown, 20. Jon Bon Jovi has already raved about his son’s “wonderful” partner in the past. He’s not worried that the two of them might be too young for marriage. “I think all my children have found the people with whom they can grow together and we like them all,” he said in a radio interview.
