It’s a news story that dates back to October 2017 but has never been forgotten. The body of Alexia Daval was found in a wood in Haute-Saône after several days of searching. For a few months, it was in front of the camera that her husband Jonathann Daval appeared devastated before finally admitting to being at the origin of this murder. Incarcerated in Ensisheim prison in Alsace, many rumors concerning him have emerged. There is in particular one evoking an alleged love affair with another inmate. S‘there is an interest, not even an act, we will find it“, the lawyer said.

Numerous investigations have been carried out and he affirms that the investigators have “I looked for everything on Jonathann, absolutely everything, there’s nothing!”. Regarding rumors of a supposed homosexual relationship, Randall Schwerdorffer says that if “the information is not good”, his client would have established links with another inmate “to whom he was, a priori, very close”, concluded the lawyer who excluded any intimate relationship between the two men. The subject has already been raised by Martine Henry, Jontahann Daval’s mother. On the occasion of the release of his work, entitled Me, mother of Jonathann Daval (Ed. Michalon), it is in front of the cameras of Seven to Eightin November 2022, that she had agreed to confide. “In your book, you also mention this rumor according to which, in prison, he had a romantic relationship with a fellow inmate. You don’t believe it?”, began Audrey Crespo-Mara. To which the principal concerned responded: “No, not even, because that’s just gossip. It was me who taught him more! Because I saw it on TV before going to see it. It shocked me, I said to myself: ‘but what are they talking about? It is not possible'”. For his part, Jonathann Daval would have confided to his mother “don’t be like that”. A rumor which, however, has gained great momentum.
