The MEP wins against Louis Aliot and succeeds Marine Le Pen at the head of the National Rally.
The news comes as no surprise. MEP Jordan Bardella, already appointed interim president of the party in September 2021, was the big favorite in this election. He officially takes over from Marine Le Pen at the head of the National Rally, this Saturday, with 85% of the vote. He faced the historical frontist and mayor of Perpignan, Louis Aliot.

Nothing in common, however, with the 2011 congress, which opposed Bruno Gollnisch to Marine Le Pen, and really proposed two visions and two distinct lines for the party to the flame. Jordan Bardella, meanwhile, has already announced that he would adopt the posture of conciliation, proposing to appoint his rival vice-president of the party.
