Jordan Peele: His next horror film will cause horror in 2022

Jordan Peele has earned a reputation as an excellent horror director in recent years. In 2022 he wants to consolidate this reputation.

In the person of Jordan Peele (41), a comedian of all people has blossomed into the greatest horror hope in recent years. With his oppressive and socially critical debut "Get Out" he even won an Oscar for the best original screenplay in 2018, followed a year later by the critically acclaimed shocker "We". For the next film, too, Peele will remain true to his successful genre: According to "The Hollywood Reporter", he is already working as a screenwriter and producer on a new horror film, which, according to the report, will hit US cinemas on July 22, 2022 under the banner of film studio Universal Pictures should come.

Once more as a director, Peele will be responsible for the as yet nameless project. As specific as the planned start date is, so little (literally nothing) is known about the plot of the film. It can be assumed, however, that Peele will again weave horror with the subject of racism, as has already been the case with his other two films.

Since 2019, Peele has also been giving goosebumps in the series subject. In the new edition of the famous "Twilight Zone" he appears as a narrator, he also acts as a producer. This is also the case with the horror series "Lovecraft Country", which was released in 2020, and "Star Wars" director J.J. Abrams (54) has his fingers in the game as a producer.
