Before being a film signed by Agnès Obadia, Joséphine is the heroine of a comic strip created by Pénélope Bagieu in 2008. Huge success in bookstores, this series in 3 volumes exposes the small daily worries of a thirty-year-old, tinged with Second degree humor.
The director of the film did not know the comic strip when the producer Romain Rojtman came to ask her to adapt it. Agnès Obadia nevertheless took up the challenge; comics offering, according to her, “a tone, characters. There remained a great freedom to imagine the adventures”.
Originally, the designer had announced on her Twitter account that it would be Audrey Lamy who would play the character, before the role finally fell into the hands of Marilou Berry.

To better marry the silhouette of this blonde callipyge, the actress had to transform her body, beyond a diet that had made her lose a lot of weight: “Joséphine is first and foremost a pair of buttocks! I had the chance and the honor to have mine molded, I found myself in a thong with 5 guys who painted my buttocks with latex, which didn’t is not unpleasant! They molded a prosthesis that I put under a sheath to obtain the hourglass effect”.
A preparation that did not bother the actress: “You couldn’t dream of a better way to slip into the skin of a character! It instills another approach, another feeling, another outfit. I always enter my characters through the costumes, the hairstyle.”
