Surprise on vacation in Italy: US actor Josh Lucas is engaged to meteorologist Brianna Ruffalo. Even Ricky Martin congratulated him.
Josh Lucas (53, “Yellowstone”) and Brianna Ruffalo (33) got engaged while on vacation in Italy. The US actor and the ABC news anchor and meteorologist announced announced on Saturday via Instagram.
He posted two video clips and a photo from shortly after the romantic proposal. In the clips, two musicians with a mandolin and guitar can be seen behind his happy fiancée with tears in their eyes. The photo shows the two arm in arm.
“For the past two years, this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper and more complete in every way and every day. I am so grateful and happy that she said ‘yes’. I LOVE YOU, Brianna,” he wrote. Lucas also thanked the couple’s families “and all the people and organizations that made this happen. I know for a fact that I was incredibly lucky.”

Brianna Ruffalo also shared a video of the engagement – in particular, she showed off her sparkling engagement ring and wrote: “In the fall almost two years ago, Josh came into my life completely unexpectedly… and we both knew immediately that we had found our purpose like we had never experienced before – in every way.” The ABC7 presenter continued: “That was the easiest and best question I have ever answered. So, forever my love, my best friend. I can’t wait to live this life with you.”
In the days before, both had already Holiday photos and clips from Naples and Positano in Italy. Ruffalo explained that her grandfather came from this region.
This will be Josh Lucas’ second marriage. He was married to writer Jessica Ciencin Henriquez from March 2012 to October 2014. His son Noah was born in the summer of 2012.
