Lupita Nyong’o had a special birthday trip: she celebrated her 41st birthday with Joshua Jackson in Mexico.
With the actor couple Joshua Jackson (45) and Lupita Nyong’o (41) seem to be getting more and more serious. Now the couple has been seen in love on vacation in Mexico.
Kissing on the beach
The two actors were photographed on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Apparently they enjoyed a romantic birthday trip to mark Nyongo’s 41st birthday. In photos, which “E! News” showed, the couple runs into the sea together, where the two then kissed and hugged. “They vacationed in Puerto Vallarta for Lupita’s birthday,” People quoted an insider as saying. “They only had eyes for each other all weekend. They were constantly kissing, laughing and just having the best time.”
There were first rumors of love about Jackson and Nyong’o in October 2023, after it was announced that the former “Dawson’s Creek” actor was separating from his wife Jodie Turner-Smith (37). He had been married to the British actress since December 2019, and their daughter Juno Rose Diana (3) was born in April 2020. In early October 2023, Turner-Smith filed for divorce. “They are on very different paths in life,” a source told People. And further: “It became an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy.” Joshua Jackson was previously with German actress Diane Kruger (47) for ten years.
Going to the concert sparked rumors
Nyong’o also announced his separation from American presenter Selema Masekela (52) in October 2023. “I lived with a lot of pain and heartbreak,” she later said the digital title “Porter”. “I looked at my social media environment and thought, I don’t want to be part of this illusion that everything is always going well.”
Amid the breakup news, Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson were seen together for the first time when they attended a Janelle Monáe (38) concert in Los Angeles with friends. In December 2023, rumors of a new relationship were fueled when the two were photographed holding hands.
