During his incarceration, Cédric Jubillar would have discussed this affair with his cell neighbor, a certain “Marco”, a 36-year-old Corsican with a heavy judicial past. He would have confessed to her the murder of Delphine, by confiding to her having planned to kill her for some time. On the evening of the disappearance, December 15, 2020, the 34-year-old drywall craftsman went to join his wife in the living room to retrieve her phone charger. Seeing her plunged into his phone, he would have “gone wrong.”
“He would have first seen a message from his wife’s lover with whom she was texting. He took his phone out of his hands and saw the messages. That’s what made him twist […]. He explained to me that he followed his wife by geolocating her, having tried to hack her phone without success. He knew what was going to happen. “They didn’t even find the knife”
According to Marco, Cédric Jubillar would have confided to have buried the body of Delphine in a “shallow” place and which has “already burned”, without further details. He was even worried that the body would reappear. The Corsican co-detainee explains that he confessed so that justice provides answers to the couple’s children.
According to another inmate, Cédric Jubillar would have laughed at the investigators. “These morons, they didn’t even find the knife,” he allegedly told her. The two prisoners claim that Cedric spoke of his wife in unflattering terms: “He said she was a slut, a bitch, that she had sex objects in her locker at work, that she was cheating on him.” “.
Séverine L, Cédric’s companion, told investigators: “I think he’s guilty. I think he really killed her actually. I was manipulated, I believed it, I blame myself for having believed it ”. Séverine L and Marco spoke by phone, at Cédric’s request. This is what led to the young woman’s custody in mid-December. She had been released without charges.
According to Le Parisien, the area of a burnt farmhouse was inspected following the secrets of the plaster craftsman. Larger excavations are planned soon. For their part, Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers again requested his release on Tuesday.
