Jubillar case: The mysterious disappearance of Delphine in the middle of the night finally explained?

In the Jubillar case, the investigators and the justice system devote a large part of their attention to Cédric, her husband with whom the nurse from Cagnac-les-Mines was in divorce proceedings. However, the painter-plasterer’s lawyer, master Jean-Baptiste Alary, has another theory. In the edition of New Detective which dates back to January 2022, the lawyer had presented his idea: the companion of the lover of Delphine Jubillar could have explained herself to her during the fateful night of December 2020.

The lover of Montauban, nickname given by Delphine Jubillar to the man she met via an application on the Internet, gave piano lessons. He would have used his job to justify the presence of the young woman the day his spouse returned home unexpectedly, then meeting the mistress of the father of his children. “He swore that this one was his student whenthey had probably just had an intimate relationship in the marital bed. When she learned the truth, we understand that she felt betrayed, humiliated“, says the lawyer.

Discovering then certainly that her husband is cheating on her, she sent several text messages to her rival. The lawyer reports them:The woman writes: ‘Listen, as long as I’m in this house, you stop and leave us alone.’ Delphine answers him : ‘I promise, I won’t contact your husband again. I respect you.’“However, the lovers would have continued to write to each other. For Maître Alary, this may have provoked the wrath of the deceived woman. He believes that she may even have wanted a confrontation with the mother of Louis and Elyah, which would explain why Cédric Jubillar’s wife would have come out of her house in disaster, while everyone was sleeping: “She could very well have said to her husband something like: ‘You’re starting to piss me off, we’ll see her, the other one, and we’ll explain ourselves.‘ This would explain Delphine going out in a hurry in the middle of the night, wearing only a down jacket, without taking her handbag.

Relying on the fact that she erased twenty-four text messages exchanged with Delphine, that evening, to keep only three, the lawyer regrets that the authorities are not more interested in this track. Perhaps because other testimonies sow more trouble than the lover and his wife, cleared by justice thanks to their alibi – they were quietly at home: the argument observed by the eldest son of the Jubillars the same evening, the behavior of Cédric Jubillar, narcissistic and aggressive, who is constantly reported by those around him or even his own mother who reconsiders her opinion… For the prosecution, an alleged motive is emerging: the jealousy of suspect number 1 However, there is a lack of material evidence for the justice system to be able to draw any real conclusions on the person who is in pre-trial detention for spousal homicide.

Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
