All popular manga have been entitled to their video game adaptation in recent years, so it was necessarily only a matter of time before Jujutsu Kaisen don’t go there. The inevitable Bandai Namco Games thus took advantage of the scene of theAnime Expo 2023 to unveil Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clashan action game in 2v2 developped by Byking (My Hero One’s Justice).
The title will make us relive the story popularized by the manga and the anime, namely that of Yuji Itadori and other demon hunters who must use their supernatural skills to fight off Plagues. Fifteen characters will be playable and we will be able to combine them in two-on-two fights deploying a wide range of attacks and combos as a team. The synergy of our duo will be essential, but we will also have the leisure toincrease the power level of our heroes between fights to unlock new moves.
“With its unique and compelling storyline and focus on intense action, Jujutsu Kaisen is the perfect anime to make the leap into video games,” said Misaki Kai, producer at Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. “Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash stays true to its source material, taking players into this incredible animated universe to experience the story and action for themselves. »
Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash does not yet have a release date, but is planned for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Switch.
