Julia Roberts confides an incredible anecdote about the day of her birth

A friendship born from the rejection of racial segregation

Julia Roberts expressed herself a little more broadly on this subject by describing their friendship and the ideals that brought them togetherwhen Martin Luther King gave his famous speech I have a dream four years earlier.

Walter and Betty Lou Roberts ran an acting school at the time called The actors and writers workshop, in Atlanta. “One day Coretta Scott King called my mother to ask if her children could be part of the school, because she couldn’t find a place that accepted them” said Julia Roberts. Julia’s parents were welcoming. I think it’s extraordinary, and it lays the foundations of Julia’s personality” she said, full of praise for her. No doubt, the queen of Hollywood is still her!
