Footballer Julian Weigl (28) and his wife Sarah Richmond (26) are becoming parents for the second time. The couple announced this in one shared video on Instagram.
In the black and white video, the Gladbach professional, his wife and their daughter Bruna Marie (2) uncover their hands one after the other – until an ultrasound image finally appears. “Another blessing is on the way,” the couple commented on the post, adding the hashtag “Baby 2024.”
There are already numerous congratulations under the video. Among other things, Ann-Kathrin Götze (34), who became a mother for the second time a few weeks ago, congratulates her. “Congratulations,” writes the wife of footballer Mario Götze (31). Weigl’s football club also doesn’t miss the opportunity to congratulate.
They fell in love in their youth
The former national player and the presenter have been a couple since 2011. The two married in 2020 and their first daughter was born a year later. In an interview with “Gala” in 2019, Richmond said about her partner: “He would like to have a lot of children and can’t wait to get started. But I think three would be enough.”
