Actually you know them wrapped up thickly, but for the "Playboy" ski jumping world champion Juliane Seyfarth dropped all covers.

Ski jumping world champion Juliane Seyfarth (30) has shed her protective winter sportswear and posed naked on Fuerteventura for the March issue of the men's magazine "Playboy". She has obviously always been brave: "I have loved the sport since I was a child. I saw these jumps back then and said to my parents: 'I want to try that too!'", The Thuringian tells in an interview with the magazine.

For the first time also on the large hill

But she first had to fight for her place as a woman. "At the club I first did cross-country skiing because back then it was still said: 'Girls don't do that. You can't jump'", Juliane Seyfarth remembers. And it taught those responsible better: In 2006, she won her first junior world championship, in 2018 she took part in the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang and in 2019 she won World Cup gold in team and mixed jumping in Seefeld. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf (23.2.-7.3.) Seyfarth and her colleagues will also be competing on the large hill for the first time.

In her favorite nude photo, the pioneer of women's ski jumping wears wings. "It suits me perfectly: I'm a woman and I fly like an eagle. I really like this connection," she says happily. Juliane Seyfarth expects her sports professional colleagues "that the photos are welcomed by everyone because they draw positive attention to our sport". She regards nudes and her sport as art, both of which give her "the feeling of freedom".
