Less publicized than the latter, her sister, Angèle Herry was born in 1974. Following the death of her Patrick Dewaere, the girl will be adopted by Julien Clerc, who will find himself in a relationship with Miou-Miou. In 1992, the singer agreed to become Angèle’s adoptive father. In 2021, he had also explained to Paris Match: “Angèle became my daughter, and I adopted her at her request when she was 17”. Thus, the singer has five children: Angèle, Jeanne, Vanille, Barnabé and Léonard. Julien Clerc will also be present this Saturday, October 22, 2022 on the Star Academy set.
In the report commented by Lola Dewaere, many revelations are made about Patrick Dewaere, especially about his childhood : “Mado wanted to kill herself with you in her womb. Then abort you. All your life, you felt rejected”explains Lola, his daughter. Patrick Dewaere will also be the victim of several rapes during his childhood : “Scared in your stomach, you suffered this incest with no doubt already the desire to end it”. His mother knows what is happening but will never mention these rapes. She’ll push him in the castings : “We had become a cattle fair. My mother, it really is one of the most atrocious things that can exist!”.

These revelations were possible thanks to the tenacity of his daughter, who literally forced his grandmother to tell him everything : “I had heard terrible things about your childhood,” Lola Dewaere tells her late father in this documentary. “Before your mother died, I demanded that she tell me everything. Mado refused. But I left her no choice. I took her between four eyes, and she ended up confessing everything to me .” “During your childhood, you suffered repeated sexual touching and rape. You endured monstrous acts for years that screwed you up forever”.
A tribute to Patrick Dewaere
On the death of her son, the grandmother of Lola Dewaere will accuse her ex-daughter-in-law of the most atrocious facts : “After your death, she said everywhere that my mother was responsible for your suicide”, she explains to her father. “But that was to hide the truth. This terrible truth, too heavy to bear.” This film directed by Alexandre Moix was a real therapy for Lola Dewaere. For its director, it was also an opportunity to pay tribute to him : “I’m a fan of Patrick Dewaere whom I discovered with Coup de tête. I had already made a documentary in 2003 on him, but as his mother was alive, I had not been able to tell everything about the secrets of his childhood. For forty years we have been wondering why Patrick Dewaere screwed up. I wanted to make a film again by revealing the truth.”
