You don’t get bored in Star Academy. Lately, we could see Julien making a joke about Garou which did not fail to make Michael Goldman laugh.
This new season of star Academy is rich in emotions. Everything is going very quickly since 5 candidates have already been eliminated. Indeed, the students first had to say goodbye to Amisse, then the week after to Ahcène and Cenzo. This Saturday, November 5, the eliminated were in duo and it was Léa and Tania who were saved by the public against Carla and Paola who therefore had to pack their bags. Following this evening, which was a blow to the students still present, the parents of Grégory Lemarchal, Pierre and Laurence were invited to spend a moment with them, as we could see in the live available on My TF1 Max.
After a poignant sequence where they sang on the piano to pay tribute to their son who died on April 30, 2007, they shared a dinner with the students. We could then hear Julien dare to joke about Garou. When Pierre Lemarchal indicated : “False notes happen even to the greatest… Live, even to the greatest singers…”, the one who was saved twice by the public launched: “We saw Garou yesterday!”. A little joke that made Michael Goldman laugh, the program director at the table too, who replied: “Wait, throw something at him!”

Julien in tears during the debrief of the last Star Academy bonus
During the last bonus, Julien left his place to Garou who arrived by surprise to sing Downwind with Anisha. But that’s not all: he too had a very nice surprise since his brother, Mathieu, also an artist, came to sing on stage alongside him ! They interpreted the title Conceived by John Lennon.
During the debrief with Michael Goldman, Julien then burst into tears, confiding: “He said to me: ‘I don’t know when we’ll see each other, but we’ll see each other again’. And that scared me a lot… and that makes me cry. I don’t know if he was talking before the adventure or later in the adventure”. He indeed explained that it was going to hurt him not to see his brother for a while before declaring: “My brother is my hero; there it was him, it was for him, it was not for me”.
