Julien Doré tackles the new restrictions and proposes to transform his concerts into political meetings

SECOND DEGREE – The singer led with humor the sling of artists left more than perplexed by the new announcements of the government, which reinstates the gauges for the large gatherings. Eddy de Pretto, Grand Corps Malade and Hoshi also imagine getting into politics.

His creativity is no longer to be proven. His humor either. Those who follow Julien Doré on social networks know that the singer has a strong sense of repartee. No wonder he reacted with irony to Jean Castex’s announcements re-establishing a gauge of 2,000 people for indoor gatherings (5,000 outdoors) and banning standing concerts from Monday, January 3, for at minimum three weeks. Restrictions that apply to cultural and sporting circles. But not at political meetings, four months before the presidential election. What if it was there, the solution to escape the limitations?

Julien Doré thus shared the new poster of his tour, which is due to start on February 26 in Aix-en-Provence. Except that the singer will no longer be “in concert” corn “in meeting”. “This is our project”, he wrote in the caption on Instagram, taking up a sentence launched by the candidate Emmanuel Macron during one of his campaign meetings in 2016. In comments, his dogs Simone and Jean-Marc – who also have their certified account on the network social – specify that it will be “sit!”. “Juju president!”, already claim his admirers under the publication.

Except that in his fictitious race at the Élysée Palace, Julien Doré will have competition. Eddy de Pretto, with whom he sings a duet on “Fatal Tear”, in turn announced his candidacy. “I present myself as President of the Republic. I organize meetings here”, he specifies on Twitter giving the dates of his tour which is due to start in Rennes on January 12. The singer also shares his campaign poster, a photo montage made by one of his fans on the official Emmanuel Macron photo.

A photo also hijacked by Hoshi, whose tour resumes on January 15. “It’s okay, I can do my concerts”, she smiles using a crying laughing emoji.

Grand Corps Malade also entered “in campaign”, the new name he gave to his tour. “I am therefore a candidate for the presidential elections. All my meetings are maintained”, he assures his audience.
