Juliette Armanet unveiled her new clip “You play me” this Wednesday afternoon. A somewhat sporty shoot that did not spare the artist.
For several days, the singer has been teasing, on her Instagram account, with a lot of humor, the release of the clip “Tu me play” – from her album “Brûler le feu” released last November and already sold more than 80,000 copies . The first clip shot outdoors for the artist. We thus see Juliette Armanet evolving on rollerblades, at high speed on the roads and singing “but if I am on earth, it is to please you”. A title that she considers “a song for (her) audience, a pure and simple declaration of love to everyone in the crowd”, she notes in a press release, and for which she has no reluctant to take risks.
“For the first time in a music video, I wanted to be outside, to trace the road, the wind in my hair and to dare an ode to freedom, because this love is for always, that of the great crossings, interior landscapes at great speed”, continues the artist. And to add that “for this clip, I wanted us to feel very simply the emotions that I experience on the road, in concert”.
A high-risk shooting
Emotions, Juliette also experienced during the filming. While for the occasion, she explains that she “brought her old rollerblades out of the closet”, the artist spared no effort and this clip seemed to give her a hard time.
It gave rise to hours of training and beautiful stunts, which Juliette Armanet did not fail to share on her networks, revealing in particular a best of her preparation sessions and her falls. “Armanet Roller Academy – Falling, getting up, riding, starting again – I’ve been training valiantly for a few weeks now…” posted the interpreter of “Love alone” three days ago. Playing the game to the end, she is also staged, filing the clip in person and on rollerblades, before offering a last gadin.
The result was worth it. In this first clip shot outside the studio, Juliette Armanet works wonders and impresses with her technical prowess.
