The July 2023 Amazon Prime Gaming free games and content available to subscribers have been revealed. Here is the program for the next few weeks, it is much less provided than the other months.
Who says new month, says new “free” games for the different subscriptions. In July, PS Plus members will be able to get their hands on a trio of Call of Duty Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered and Endling Extinction is Forever, for example. On the PC side, Amazon will also go there with its gifts. The offer has obviously exhausted its entire stock of Neo-Geo titles and so there will be fewer free games than usual, but there are some nice names and great rewards in the mix. Here’s the July 2023 Amazon Prime Gaming schedule, with a bit of Star Wars in it.

The list of free Amazon Prime Gaming games for July 2023 is revealed. A few names and in-game rewards to collect were already known, but the e-commerce giant does not intend to stop there. No more SNK classics, the publisher obviously favors quality over quantity. Subscribers will be able to get their hands on some great names as well as indie titles worth checking out. The festivities will begin on July 6 with other titles rolled out over the weeks.
July 6
- Shovel Knight: Showdown [Amazon Games App] : acclaimed indie action game mixing combat and platformers. A title playable in coop for up to 4 players, where you can embody the heroes or villains of the universe in a frantic race for gems. For lovers of solo experiences, the Story mode is there for them, with 16 playable characters, each with their own narrative arc.
- Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! [Amazon Games App] : the game that will delight you this summer? Take to the roads of the United States and take part in the most important food-truck championship in the country. Prepare hundreds of different dishes and manage your own truck. On the program, hundreds of levels, an improved experience and even a Chill mode to play cool.
July 10
- STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed [Amazon Games App] : before Fallen Order, players had been able to discover the story of Darth Vader’s apprentice. Fall on the dark side of the Force and discover a scenario that will lead you to face Luke Skywalker in person.
July 13
- NAIRI: Tower of Shirin [Amazon Games App] : another independent game little known to the general public but which has charmed those who have tried it. You play as Nairi, a little girl from high society whose life has just been turned upside down and who despite herself discovers a mysterious conspiracy. A family adventure that is likely to captivate you.
July 20
- Wytchwood [Amazon Games App] : warning to budding witches, Amazon Prime Gaming has the perfect free game for you. Combining adventure, construction and investigation, this title invites you to use your cunning and logic to solve puzzles and defeat monsters. As an old witch of the woods, gathering and crafting whimsical ingredients is your daily life.
July 27
- Lunar Ax [Legacy Games Code] : also unknown to the general public, this free game has seduced its players. Following a violent earthquake, you find yourself trapped in an abandoned house. It’s up to you to find the exit and unravel the mystery behind these inexplicable tremors before the city is destroyed.
Free content for Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers
As usual, the American giant will offer Amazon Prime subscribers to retrieve a whole plethora of free content for current games and those that have lasted over the years. For example, there are 5 free Battle Pass ranks for Overwatch 2 players, a bundle for Diablo 4, packs for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, Pokemon Go rewards and of course some items for League of Legends or even FIFA 23. Soccer players can now recover 7 rare gold players, two choices of 82 players + OVR or even twelve rare consumables.
