Jungle Camp 2020: Elena Miras now calls Claudia Norberg "a great woman"

One day before the semifinals, Elena Miras (27) had to take the RTL show "I'm a star – Get me out of here!" leave. The reality TV asterisk caused a lot of riot in the jungle camp in 2020 with her quick temper. In an interview with the news agency spot on news after she moved out, she strikes an unusually conciliatory tone – also in relation to her Wendler bomb, which is often suggested.

You and your fellow campers were completely surprised by your departure so shortly before the semi-finals. What do you think disturbed the audience?

Elena Miras: It's very difficult for me to say, I haven't seen anything yet. I can only say: I did my best and I am proud that I mastered it.

In the jungle they said they were the only "honest and authentic" resident and the rest were "a bunch of actors". Danni Büchner was the first to fall around your neck after the announcement. Is it all just hypocrisy?

Miras: I think there were lows and highs in the camp. We had little food, we had little sleep, that's how these discussions arise. Not all people can understand each other. One shouldn't forget that this is an extreme situation. It is coming to an end, the nerves are bare. I think it's strong that we all said goodbye as normal. I don't take anything bad from anyone. I think we all understand each other. We are not all going out of this show as friends, but as people who can meet normally. In retrospect, I would say that we are all on an equal footing and I also want it to stay that way without blaming anyone.

Why did you shoot yourself against Sven Ottke?

Miras: I didn't shoot Sven Ottke. There are discussions in this camp, Sven and I also had some. But we settled it immediately, everything was okay, we laughed again afterwards and said goodbye as normal.

When are you going to drop the Wendler bomb?

Miras: I have stated that I have something to say and that I want to give this person a chance. Claudia (Norberg, editor's note) and I had our differences of opinion. I told her what I think, after that the topic was eaten. We lived normally in the camp. I got to know Claudia in a completely different way. So I want to take it with me. A positive memory of Claudia. She is a great woman. I wanted to give her this chance and express my opinion, I have fulfilled both of these things and it remains that way. Therefore I have nothing more to say on this topic.

Have you stepped on the scales yet? How much did you lose?

Miras: Yes, minus seven kilos. Unfortunately too much.

What was the first thing you ate?

Miras: I had spaghetti bolognese and could eat exactly four forks.

What did you learn in the jungle camp or do you regret your participation?

Miras: I have no regrets. I think I mastered my participation very, very well. I would do everything the same way again. I was myself until the end, I stayed true to myself and that was always the most important thing for me.

Who do you treat the jungle crown to?

Miras: I hope Prince (Damien, editor's note) wins. I grant him this crown because he is just so lovable. He always built me up in the camp and I very much hope that he will feel this love from the spectators because he deserves it.
