David Odonkor becomes a toilet paper tyrant
Before her night vigil with her crush David Odonkor, Anya Elsner already thinks she is in seventh heaven – but in the end everything turns out completely differently.

On the fifth day of the jungle camp there is, as usual, a lot of drama and crying attacks – and David Odonkor becomes a toilet paper tyrant.
Day five of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” on RTL (also via RTL+). After yesterday’s broadcast was all about… Cora Schumacher, 47, voluntarily left the jungle camp, the remaining eleven remaining candidates will be given significantly more space and airtime on Wednesday evening – with RTL, as always, skilfully setting the dramaturgical course.
Anya Elsner and David Odonkor spend the night together
Ex-“Germany’s Next Top Model” participant Anya Elsner, 20, had previously made no secret of the fact that she liked former national soccer player David Odonkor, 39. Unsurprisingly, the two jungle campers are then assigned to watch together at night, with Anya dreaming that she is almost at her destination. “The nicest thing that would happen would be if he said: ‘Anya, you are my dream woman, I want to get to know you!'” hopes the 20-year-old.
Ultimately, however, the Night Watch couldn’t be more unromantic. After initial, rather inconsequential conversations, there is mostly silence between the two celebrities. “There was never a counter question, so he just answered, and then, to be honest, I lost the motivation to ask further questions if nothing came back,” notes Elsner about their night together, while Odonkor didn’t want to ask any questions , because he felt that Anya was tired.
Quite clearly: Before Elsner develops any more feelings here, she should probably get to know her crush a little more closely. Because based on this night watch, the two are unlikely to become a couple.

Elsner had already caused a stir when she discovered what she saw as a huge spider in the jungle toilet. “I’m not going in there, there’s a spider that’s so huge” or “Oh my God, oh my God,” she blurts out at the sight.
Designer Sarah Kern, 56, has very little understanding for her fellow camper’s crying and panic attack. “You’re not serious, why is she crying here? Because there’s a spider sitting there? We’re in the jungle here, man. Just don’t look at it. That’s just exaggerated,” she says.
David Odonkor (“I have structure in my life and that should also happen here in the camp”), on the other hand, becomes the new team boss – and immediately plunges boldly into his role of authority. He thinks that there is a danger of running out of toilet paper, so there will be strict rationing. “I think it’s possible to only use two rolls per day,” says Odonkor.
“Temptation Island” participant Kim Virginia (“David’s tone is the ruler”) doesn’t like such announcements at all. Since, in Odonkor’s opinion, she and influencer Twenty4Tim, 23, chatter too much during his important boss speech (“Just listen, Kim!”), the two of them are quickly sent to clean the toilet. “The Queen is definitely not made to empty outhouses! Really disrespectful act!”, says Virginia, who has been reprimanded in this way, but then still has to take on the unpopular task.
Leyla Lahouar is ruining her next jungle test
The day before, former “Bachelor” candidate Leyla Lahouar, 27, mastered her second jungle test with flying colors and won ten out of eleven possible stars. Day five, however, marks a relapse into the worst times that were thought to be long past. Because Leyla (“I’m so afraid of these narrow spaces”) has to crawl into a dark underground maintenance shaft during the “Repair Torture” test.
“It smells so bad here,” the 27-year-old remarks, crying as she descends, and afterwards: “I can’t, I can’t. It’s all so dark here.” After just a few moments the decisive sentence “I am a star – get me out of here!” follows. Once again Leyla breaks off her exam early – and her fellow campers are left with a culinary mess.
However, Lahouar does not have to go to the jungle test a fourth time in a row the next day. Instead, it hits Anya Elsner and “Queen” Kim Virginia, who suddenly burst into tears at this news. Her fellow campers comfort her.
