Designer Sarah Kern has reportedly been confirmed as a jungle camp participant. So far only Heinz Hoenig and Cora Schumacher have been confirmed.
It finally starts on Friday, January 19, 2024: The RTL show “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” starts a new round. So far, the broadcaster has only confirmed two candidates: actor Heinz Hoenig (72) and model and racing driver Cora Schumacher (46). Some other names are already hot in the media. Now the Cologne “Express” wants to know that another celebrity has already been confirmed: the German-Danish designer Sarah Kern (55).
According to the report, Kern, who was born in Cologne, has been on the wish list of the jungle camp makers for a long time, and now this wish will be fulfilled, it is said. Kern is not entirely unknown in the reality TV universe: In August 2017, she took part in the fifth season of the Sat.1 show “Celebrity Big Brother” and came in eighth place.
Kern started her career as a model and walked the catwalks in Milan and Paris at the age of 16. There she also met the fashion designer Otto Kern (1950-2017), to whom she was married from 1995 to 1999. Their son Olivier comes from this marriage. Kern also has her son Romeo from her second husband Goran Munizaba, from whom she divorced in 2010 after around three years of marriage.

In addition to Kern, other names that have been announced as candidates have been circulating for weeks. The footballer’s son Nico Legat (25), the “GZSZ” actor Felix von Jascheroff (41) and the former “GNTM” candidate Anya Elsner (19) have already been rumored. The broadcaster RTL traditionally does not comment on speculation about possible participants. The last names of the jungle camp candidates were often only announced shortly before the start of the show.
Only today, December 19th, RTL made public that the jungle camp 2024 will open its doors from January 19th to February 4th. The big reunion after the coronation of the jungle king or queen will be broadcast on February 5th. The 17th season will once again be moderated by Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40), and of course Bob McCarron (73) aka “Dr. Bob” is also on board again.
