In the jungle camp, two campers take a culinary test and Anouschka Renzi looks back emotionally on her past.

Daniel Hartwich (43) and Sonja Zietlow (53) reported on Wednesday evening from South Africa on “the hottest day of this year’s jungle camp season,” as the moderators reported. But not only the climate made the candidates of “I’m a star – get me out of here!” (also via RTL+) to accomplish. A disgust exam was waiting for two campers and one camper spoke openly about the difficult relationship with her father in the past.

Debate before farewell

Before Linda Nobat (27) left the camp, there was a “debate” with Anouschka Renzi (57), who wanted to apologize for her choice of words the day before (“uneducated brat”): “I was just angry, I wanted you don’t hurt.” Harald Glööckler (56) was annoyed by the endless discussions: “We all just don’t have the energy for it right now. You can just let it rest now.”

“Anouschka is very provocative, cheeky and sometimes outrageous,” Linda explained on the jungle phone. Anouschka, on the other hand, stated: “We are both very impulsive and articulate. We are both exhausting for each other.” She went up to Linda again and gently stroked her head: “You’re a really great girl. You could be my daughter and I always want to raise you, my sweet. It’s difficult for me – even if you’re sometimes right – having someone so much younger wipe my mouth.” Linda was supposedly understanding and both were relieved about the truce. There was no threat of another argument – after Linda left, Anouschka was the only woman in the camp.

In the group of men around the campfire, Anouschka then revealed stories from her childhood and about her adoptive father, the well-known actor Paul Hubschmidt. “I only got to know him when I was two. I always adored and admired him. He brought a stability and a constant calm and balance – you couldn’t say that about my mother now.” The woman after her mother was “a real broom” who could not accept her half brother and her. “My father had Parkinson’s. He was completely dependent on her.”

What bothers her to this day is that she has not been able to talk to him in recent years. “It’s a shame that we can’t hug and love each other at crucial moments. You have to clarify things with the people you love when you’re alive and don’t get caught up in any sensitivities,” the actress explained, close to tears.

“Know or whine”: Six stars for Filip and Peter

While Manuel Flickinger (33) and Eric Stehfest (32) were still reveling in the success of their test (four stars) and Manuel felt the jumps onto a net as a “liberating blow”, Filip Pavlovic (27) and Peter Althof (66) were waiting already the next challenge. In the “Know or cry” quiz, the two campers didn’t have to earn the six stars they already had, they weren’t allowed to lose them. A star was awarded when all six questions in a round were answered correctly.

When that wasn’t the case and a question was answered incorrectly, the star was saved by drinking a variety of South African drinks, including pureed mudfish or pureed waterbuck testicles. Among other things, Filip couldn’t do anything with the English preposition “with” and the Reichstag building in Berlin (“Isn’t that in Munich?”) and had to fight his way through the exam, choking. The duo bravely secured all six stars in the end.

Harald Glööckler is the boss

Meanwhile, Harald Glööckler made the announcements as camp and kitchen manager. Peter found that the designer often behaves “above the people” and Anouschka Renzi also thinks that he could react “a little better” to statements made by his colleagues. But Harald remains true to his direct manner. So he also chatted openly about his beauty interventions.

This includes “suction of fat, making teeth complete, tightening eyelids, lifting with laser and Jawline injections without cutting.” He has also been doing injections with hyaluronic acid and botox for 26 years and has had his head and beard tattooed. “Whether everyone finds it beautiful is another matter. But I have to find it beautiful.”

He remained open and honest on the evening of the decision: “I would call for Anouschka because she is the only woman left. My back would be happy if it could come out.” The campers waited anxiously for the decision – and were surprised. For the second time, RTL is saying goodbye to Lucas Cordalis (54) and Yanina Youssefian (39) due to the failure or exit and all campers can continue to hope for the jungle crown.
