In the second jungle camp episode, Tessa Bergmeier faced the first individual jungle test. Tears also flowed in the camp.
On Saturday evening, RTL showed the second jungle camp episode. The model and “GNTM” bitch Tessa Bergmeier (33) went to the “Hor-Rohr” test, their scoundrels moved together in the camp and got to know each other better in emotional conversations. But the harmonious atmosphere did not last long.
Actress Jana Urkraft Pallaske (43), who feels more than comfortable in the “magical, beautiful jungle”, isolated herself from the group and went into her world pain. “I think it’s sad how things are on Earth right now,” she said through tears. “Values are sought that have no real value. People strive for things that they think would make them happy!”
Tears also came from Tessa Bergmeier, but she has very different problems in the jungle. “I’m dehydrated. The water is so disgusting, it tastes like ash. I can’t drink that,” she told Lucas Cordalis (55) and then repeated her description on the jungle phone. “It has such a bad aftertaste, I won’t drink the water if it’s made in the same pot as a corpse opossum,” she recalled of the past jungle camp meal. The jungle toilet also bothered her: “Everything pissed again here, disgusting. That really scares me,” said Bergmeier when inspecting the quiet place.
Withdrawal symptoms lead to rule violations
For others, withdrawal symptoms made long faces. “Checker vom Neckar” Cosimo Citiolo (41) complained to the displeasure of his fellow campers about his alleged lack of sleep, TV macho Gigi Birofio (23), who normally smokes “a good half pack” of cigarettes a day, “still tried to control himself. But I notice how my lungs are failing. I hope my nervous phase doesn’t come, in which I tremble, “explained Birofio, who could not control himself afterwards, the cigarettes of fellow campers Jolina Mennen (30) and Verena Kerth (41 ) lit and pulled on them. Team boss Lucas Cordalis fetched the information about the violation of the rules from the jungle phone and then warned his comrade-in-arms with a stern look.
Tears came to Jolina Mennen from relief and the easing of pressure. Mennen was touched that Birofio was surprised that the influencer was born as a man. “Hearing that he wasn’t even aware of it and that he just recognized me as Jolina is exactly what I’ve fought for for years,” she admitted. Mennen, who had already asked her mother at the age of three or four when she would take care of “the problem between my legs”, lived with her partner Florian, initially in a same-sex relationship and also married him. “After I had all my operations behind me and I felt really settled, he proposed to me for the second time,” said Mennen, who burst into tears at the thought of her partner’s great support. “This is love, folks,” Birofio stated succinctly.
Jungle test with a lot of animal love
The TV macho turned out to be a good listener and also elicited details from his life from model Papis Loveday (46). “I kept modeling a secret from my family. My family wouldn’t accept that. My tribe is really very conservative. They are hunters, they are very, very male,” said Loveday, who was born in Dakar, the capital of Senegal . In 2021 he spoke publicly about his homosexuality for the first time. The 46-year-old went on to say that he doesn’t want to disgrace his mother and that he didn’t choose to be gay by birth. His fellow camper shines a lot in the camp, but actually he is very sad inside, analyzed Birofio, who also made it clear on the jungle phone: “You have to love who you want, that’s it.”
The first individual jungle test “Hor-Rohr” was up for Tessa Bergmeier. Using wrenches, she had to collect a total of twelve stars as she made her way through an underground canal system. The vegan was particularly concerned about the animals that kept her company. The 33-year-old didn’t want to “hurt” crabs and the like, approached the test in the water (too) carefully and had time problems. In the end, she earned three stars – much to the disappointment of Gigi Birofio, for whom his colleague’s love of animals went too far given his hunger.
To the next exam not only Bergmeier has to compete, but also the “Checker from the Neckar” Citiolo. Viewers can see how the duo, who have already clashed several times in the camp, will do on Sunday from 10:15 p.m. on RTL (also via RTL+).
