As in the rest of the country, the circulation of the coronavirus has started to rise again in the Jura: the incidence rate reached 700 cases per 100,000 inhabitants this Friday, against 450 on March 11.
In the department’s hospitals, however, the situation remains relatively stable: twenty-two people are currently hospitalized due to Covid, including two in critical care. But three people have lost their lives over the past week, bringing the number of deaths in the Jura to 602 since the start of the epidemic in March 2020.
Vaccination by city doctors
Vaccination centers are gradually closing and vaccination is now done by city doctors, especially for the fourth dose open to over 80s.
The Jura prefecture and Civil Protection have put a Vaccibus into service for screening and vaccination. It will make it possible to meet people with mobility problems.
