It’s a ” bad configuration »Which would have allowed certain malicious users to access (and copy) personal data of players from Just dance. Ubisoft indicates, however, that the flaw was quickly identified and corrected.
Concretely, the stolen information concerns so-called identifiers “techniques“, like the Gamertags, profile IDs and videos shared publicly with the community or on social networks. Ubisoft nevertheless promises that no account has been compromised as a result of this incident.
Despite everything, Ubisoft wished to play the card of transparency by publicly announcing this incident and indicating that the players concerned will receive an explanatory e-mail. The publisher promises to have taken all the necessary measures to avoid this type of incident in the future.
