Justice League: The wait for the "Snyder-Cut" has come to an end

"Justice League" (2017) celebrates a special kind of revival: The comic book adaptation, in which Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momo), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fischer) and Superman (Henry Cavill) meet, is shown again in a special version.

Director Zack Snyder (54) had to leave production prematurely due to a family tragedy. The "Justice League" rudder was then taken over by Joss Whedon (55). After the premiere of the film, some fans were disappointed with the result and longed for a film version of the original director. Under the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, it became a veritable campaign on social media. After around two and a half years, the streaming service HBO Max has now taken on the matter. The legendary "Snyder-Cut" 2021 will be shown there exclusively, including Snyder itself on twitter confirmed. There is no exact release date yet. German fans could possibly see the alternative film version at Sky as a partner of Warner and HBO Max.

HBO Max plans even more "Justice League" content: "Star Wars" director J.J. Abrams (53) is currently said to be working on three elaborate series for the streaming service, including a superhero series that revolves around the "Justice League Dark" universe from which anti-heroes of the John Constantine brand come, among other things. The personified in the movie "Constantine" from 2005 none other than Keanu Reeves (55).
