Justin Bieber has the best chance of scooping the most awards at the MTV Video Music Awards. He is nominated for seven awards.
The nomination list for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards is headed by Justin Bieber (27). The singer is nominated in seven categories, including the main categories “Artist of the Year”, “Video of the Year” and “Best Pop”.
Hot on his heels is Megan Thee Stallion (26) who, thanks to her collaboration with Cardi B (28) for the hit “WAP”, was able to win six nominations. Billie Eilish (19), BTS, Drake (34) and Lil Nas X (22) can look forward to five nominations.
Who has the best video?
In the main category “Video of the Year”, the videos of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion for “WAP” and Justin Bieber with DJ Khaled and Drake for “Popstar” compete against “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat and SZA, Ed Sheerans ” Bad Habits, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by Lil Nas X and “Save Your Tears” by The Weeknd.
The fans can now in the different categories vote for their favorites. The VMAs will take place in New York City on September 12, 2021.
