Justin Bieber: How he would like to help others now

In a new documentary, the singer talks about how he could have been spared a lot of suffering.

In a new documentary about Justin Bieber (26, "Yummy") the singer tells of the serious mental health problems he once had to struggle with. So there was a time when he felt "really, really suicidal." "I thought: 'Man, does this pain ever go away again?'" The situation went on and on, he had suffered and wished he hadn't felt the feeling anymore, according to Bieber in the documentary "Justin Bieber: Next Chapter" which has been on YouTube since October 30th.

But now he also knows how he "could have been spared a lot of pain" if he had talked about it. He now wants to use his popularity to encourage other people with mental health problems to do just that: "I just want to encourage people to talk about it when they feel lonely. Say it out loud."
