Théo, 20, was with Justine the night she disappeared. He tells the “Parisien” and the “Figaro” how she vanished with the suspect.

“JI saw that they were laughing together. On the night of Saturday October 22 to Sunday October 23, Justine Vayrac went missing after spending the night in a nightclub in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Corrèze. On Thursday, Lucas L. admitted killing the 20-year-old girl. The suspect, indicted for murder, forcible confinement and rape, was found by the police thanks to the indications of Théo, who had gone to a nightclub with Justine the evening of his disappearance. Aged 20, he is one of the last people to have seen her alive. He tells our colleagues from Parisian and Figaro talking to the alleged killer.
It all starts within the establishment, Justine feels bad after having had several drinks and asks Theo to accompany her for some fresh air. Outside, they meet the man who will confess to the murder a few days later. “Leaving the box, in front of the entrance, we met Lucas and, obviously, Justine already knew him. She had spent several evenings with him. They had a friendly attitude towards each other. I had nothing to worry about,” Theo describes to Parisian. “I saw that they were laughing together”, he adds to the Figaro. The three discuss but, after a few minutes, the young girl feels bad and moves away to vomit. The boys then accompany her to her car where she says she wants to rest for an hour. Lucas “told me he also wanted to rest. The two lay down in the vehicle.”
“I have other things to do than think about your drunk friend”
Theo then leaves the two to rest and returns to the nightclub. He still took care to record Lucas’ number, which will greatly help investigators locate the suspect after the murder. “I’m glad I took his number, it allowed the investigation to progress,” he admitted later. About 40 minutes after leaving them, Theo returns to the parking lot to make sure Justine is okay. The car is still there, but the two have disappeared.
“I went home, I left Justine in the car. She was better, ”assures him the alleged killer on the phone. Theo then asks her for her address, to make sure she is not at his house. In the absence of an answer, he insists on hearing from his friend until Lucas L. ends up retorting: “I have other things to do than think about your drunk friend. »
The victim drugged without his knowledge?
In the interview he gave to Figaro, the young man says he remembers strange events during the evening. One of the group’s friends is convinced that he saw Lucas L. give Justine a glass of champagne, after which the latter found that her glass had “an odd taste”. After drinking part of her cup, she leaves the rest to Theo, who has no memory of feeling bad. In addition, the suspect was already outside when the young girl came out for some fresh air. When she vomited, she was convinced that someone had put “something” in her drink. Lucas L. then replied: “Don’t worry, you’re throwing up what we put in the glass. »
“Some think I should have stayed with her, say it’s partly my fault. It’s not easy”, testifies Théo, who will never forget one of the last sentences that his friend said: “You are a good person. Given the state I am in, people could have sexually abused me,” Justine told her a few hours before her death.
