She lands role in new star-studded Apple series

Model Kaia Gerber takes another step towards an acting career. Cindy Crawford’s daughter stars in new Apple series.
After small parts in “American Horror Story”, Kaia Gerber (20) has now secured a role in a new series on Apple TV +. The daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford (56) has also made a name for herself as a model.
In the comedy series “Mrs. American Pie” Kaia plays Gerber according to “Variety” a manicurist. Nothing more is known about her role. In addition to Gerber, Apple committed other actors for its new format. Among them are “Rizzoli & Isles” star Jordan Bridges (48) and TV veteran Julia Duffy (70).
Kristen Wiig to Ricky Martin: The stars of “Mrs. American Pie”
The illustrious main cast of “Mrs. American Pie” was already known. The main role is played by comedy star Kristen Wiig (48, “Bridesmaids”, “Ghostbusters”). She plays Maxine Simmons, who tries to make her way into Palm Beach high society in the 1970s.
Oscar winners Laura Dern (55) and Allison Janney (62) play at her side. The ensemble is completed by old star Carol Burnett (89) and Latin pop star Ricky Martin (50). Laura Dern is also producing the series, which “The Help” director Tate Taylor (53) is directing.
