Kaiserschmarrndrama: This is how it continues with the Eberhoferkrimi

For the first time in years, no new Eberhof thriller premiered this summer. Thanks to Bond postponement, there is now a start to winter.

Before it was postponed again, this time to Easter 2021, the cinema release date for the new secret agent flick "James Bond 007: No Time to Die" was November 12th, 2020. And it is precisely this date that the Eberhof crime series has chosen for the new crime comedy "Kaiserschmarrndrama" caught. The latest Instagram post from "Franz Eberhofer" also refers to this.

Actor Sebastian Bezzel (49) can be seen in his prime role as the village policeman in front of the so-called "Gun barrel sequence", the gun barrel sequence that can be seen as a trademark in almost every James Bond opening credits. In addition, the comment, also borrowed from the cult agents series: "Name: Eberhofer, Franz Eberhofer. Mission: Kaiserschmarrndrama – on behalf of the chief Moratscheck. Drink: Beer, neither stirred nor shaken at all … Start of the mission: November 12, 2020 . Location: In your favorite cinema ".

This is what the "Kaiserschmarrndrama" is about

The idyll of the Lower Bavarian provincial police officer Franz Eberhofer (Sebastian Bezzel) is in danger. This is less because the well-known webcam girl was murdered. Now, of all times, his intrusive but always helpful co-investigator Rudi Birkenberger (Simon Schwarz) is sitting in a wheelchair after an accident and of course blames Franz for it. When Rudi settles down on the Eberhofer Hof and expects all-round care from Franz, the first dark clouds appear in paradise.

Eberhofer's calm is really threatened by her partner Susi (Lisa Maria Potthoff), who has allied herself with Franz's hated brother Leopold (Gerhard Wittmann) in order to build a two-family house with a communal sauna next to the farm – which Dad Eberhofer also goes against the grain . And as if village life with a rebellious motorcycle gang and marijuana meatballs weren't already colorful enough, Franz had to discover that his friends Simmerl (Stephan Zinner) and Flötzinger (Daniel Christensen) were regular customers of the murder victim.

"Grießnockerlaffäre" runs in the first

Until the movie starts, Eberhofer fans can shorten their waiting time with the bitter-sweet "Grießnockerlaffäre" (2017). Das Erste will show the fourth film in the series (since 2013), based on the novels by author Rita Falk (56), on Monday (October 19) at 8:15 p.m.

This is what the "Grießnockerlaffäre" is all about

The remaining alcoholic Franz Eberhofer (Bezzel) is woken up by a heavily armed SEK squad the morning after a lavish police wedding. The colleague Barschl (Francis Fulton-Smith) was found dead with a knife in his back. The murder weapon is Franz's pocket knife. The fact that the deceased is also his unloved superior and declared archenemy doesn't make matters any better. It's good that his old hippie father (Eisi Gulp) lies together an alibi for him. And buddy Rudi Birkenberger (black) is also there to help Eberhofer.

And that's not all, Eberhofer is also challenged privately. Because dad has been seething with jealousy since grandma's childhood sweetheart (Enzi Fuchs), odd Paul (Branko Samarovski), appeared and made his way around the house. In addition, Grandma only cooks semolina dumpling soup because Paul can't take anything else. And Susi (Potthoff)? Eberhofer's girlfriend is thinking of getting married …
