Kaley Cuoco: This is how she experienced the sex scenes on "The Big Bang Theory"

Get intimate with your ex-boyfriend in front of the camera in a role? For Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, that was tricky in "The Big Bang Theory".

The US actress Kaley Cuoco (34) had quite a few sex scenes with Johnny Galecki (45) in the cult series "The Big Bang Theory" (2007-2019). The explosive: The two were actually a couple in real life in the early years of the sitcom. When their roles became more intimate in front of the camera, the two had long since separated again.

In the "Armchair Expert" podcast, the US actress speaks about the unusual task of exchanging caresses with her ex-boyfriend. "When we shot the pilot, I had so much crush on Galecki, but he had a girlfriend," says Cuoco, who has been married to professional rider Karl Cook (29) for around two years. But they did meet a little later.

Were the sex scenes written into the scripts on purpose?

For two years they were crazy about each other, then they separated. The sex scenes in the series were a little "tricky" from then on, reports Cuoco. She even suspects that the authors deliberately wrote a lot of physicalities in the scripts: "Suddenly it was as if our characters were sleeping together every other minute."

For the series, they just fell on each other and in their eyes it happened on purpose. "They wanted to annoy us," said Cuoco. But she spoke to Galecki and got rid of the problem. "Fortunately, Johnny and I did so brilliantly and today we are closer than ever," said Cuoco.
