The Vice President of the USA is in self-isolation. Kamala Harris tested positive for corona infection.

The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris (57), has been infected with the corona virus. Both rapid and PCR tests were positive on April 26th. This was announced by the spokeswoman for the US Vice President, Kirsten Allen, in a statement. Harris currently has no symptoms, is self-isolating and will continue to work from her residence.

The Vice President will therefore follow the applicable guidelines and the advice of her doctors. As soon as she is negative again, she will return to the White House. Due to her schedule, she had not recently come into close contact with US President Joe Biden (79) or First Lady Jill Biden (70).

Joe Biden has already received the second booster vaccination

Just a few weeks ago, Biden’s press spokeswoman Jen Psaki (43) tested positive. She announced at the end of Marchthat she only feels mild symptoms because of the vaccination. Biden received his fourth corona vaccination a little later.
