Kanye West: A "private meeting" with Jared Kushner?

Kanye West met with Trump's agent Jared Kushner. Does the rapper support the US president again?

According to a report in the "New York Times", Kanye West (43, "Stronger") met "privately" with Jared Kushner (39) and his wife Ivanka Trump (38) in Telluride, Colorado – the two act as consultants in the White house. Another high-ranking advisor to the US president is also said to have been present. West has the meeting in a tweet confirms and explains what the occasion of the meeting was.

"I'm ready to interview the New York Times about my meeting with Jared Kushner, where we discussed Dr. Claude Anderson's book Powernomics." The book was published in 2001 and discusses strategies for combating ethnic inequalities in America. West did not reveal any further details about the meeting. According to Forbes, the rapper, who is running for president, has been in regular contact with Kushner since his candidacy was announced in early July. West has long been considered a Trump fan and visited him at the White House in 2018. He later distanced himself from him and his politics.

West has no chance of winning the upcoming presidential election (November 3, 2020) because he is competing in too few states. It is therefore speculated that West’s candidacy will only serve to damage the election campaign of Democratic candidate Joe Biden (77). As the Washington Post recently reported, West is getting support in his election campaign from people belonging to the Republican Party. Trump said last Wednesday that he had nothing to do with helping the rapper get into the election and said he was very fond of West.
