According to reports, Kanye West is to bring out its own decorative line, and the corresponding trademark rights have been secured. What’s behind it?

How about a “Yeezy” pillow for the sofa at home? Or maybe a towel with Kanye’s face printed all over? It could look something like this if Kanye West, 44, brings out her own interior collection – because that’s exactly the plan.

Immediately after the release of his long-awaited studio album “Donda”, Kanye, a jack of all trades, now seems to have other business fields in mind. Documents available to the US star news portal “Page Six” show that Kanye and his company Mascotte Holdings Inc. have secured trademark rights for a home goods brand under his own name, Kanye West.

The application was filed on August 27 this year and includes rights to items such as blankets, shower curtains, pillow cases, towels and tapestries. The timing is also exciting considering that Kanye has only just announced that they will only perform under the name “Ye” (short for Kanye; title of an album).

Jack of all trades

In any case, Kanye already has a lot of experience in the design and marketing of lifestyle products: For Adidas it was the iconic Yeezy sneakers; The products of his collaboration with the clothing giant GAP are currently being launched.

Interesting: Has Kanye orientated himself on his still-wife Kim Kardashian West, 40, when it came to the interior? Already in 2020 they had the rights for home articles secured under their initials “KKW Home”, but none of the products are on the market yet. But the cash register rings properly with perfumes, make-up and shapewear. If Kanye hurries, he could at least get ahead of her on the subject of interior.
