Six billion dollars poorer after scandal statements?
Kanye West has made himself unsustainable for companies like Adidas.

Kanye West is no longer a billionaire after his anti-Semitic lapses. In 2021 it was probably more than six billion dollars.
His anti-Semitic statements and the resulting consequences have apparently already cost US star Kanye West (45) a fortune. A little over a year ago, West, who now calls himself Ye, allegedly still 6.6 billion US dollars been hard. But according to “Forbes” he is now rid of his status as a billionaire – there its value is “only” estimated at around 400 million US dollars after various collaborations have ended.
This sum is composed of real estate holdings, his music catalog and a stake in the shapewear brand of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian (42). The biggest cut in West’s fortune was the end of his business relationship with the German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas.
Companies draw consequences
The company only announced on Tuesday (October 25).: “Adidas does not condone anti-Semitism or any other type of hate speech. Ye’s recent statements and actions are unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.” Since 2015, Kanye West has designed footwear and apparel for Adidas under the Yeezy brand. According to the manufacturer, production will now be stopped and “all payments to Ye and his companies” will be stopped.
The Balenciaga and Gap West brands had previously left. From the largest US clothing retailer it said in a statement: “Anti-Semitism, racism and hatred of any kind are out of the question and not compatible with our values.”
Numerous stars have also criticized West’s anti-Semitic social media post, which has since been deleted, and expressed solidarity with the Jewish community. Including Reese Witherspoon (46), Boy George (61) – and West’s ex Kim Kardashian. “I stand with the Jewish community and demand that the horrific violence and hateful rhetoric against them stop immediately,” she wrote on Twitter, among others.
