Kanye West: the rapper suspected of having hit a fan who asked for an autograph


Kanye West is under investigation for assault and battery. He allegedly punched a fan who wanted an autograph in front of a club.

The incident reportedly happened overnight from Wednesday to Thursday, around 3 a.m. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) spokeswoman, the altercation took place outside the Soho Warehouse, a private, members-only club.

Kanye West was not arrested, however, he is under investigation for assault and battery and faces a maximum sentence of six months in prison.

A video to corroborate the accusations

According to an eyewitness, the rapper punched a fan after telling him he didn’t want his picture taken.

In a video posted by TMZ, Kanye West can be seen yelling at a woman, who tries to calm him down, while a man is lying on the ground.

When the police arrived on the scene, the rapper was no longer there.

According to TMZ, earlier in the evening, Kanye West was at the Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood, with actress Julia Fox, with whom he recently made his relationship official. He later left while she stayed at the club.

According to the American media, the rapper left Los Angeles as quickly as possible in the direction of the California desert to “focus on his work.”

This incident comes as the artist has just released the clip for the title “Heaven and Hell”. In addition, the broadcast of a three-episode documentary on “Ye” has been made official by Netflix. It will also be released in theaters from February 10.
