Karl Lauterbach has Corona. Now he has announced how he is doing, what medication he is taking and what he is doing with the hate messages.
Federal Health Minister Prof. Karl Lauterbach (59) has been infected with the corona virus. This was announced a few hours ago. Now he speaks personally. “Unfortunately, despite taking great care, I fell ill with Corona. Despite the 4th vaccination”, he writes on Twitter. “The symptoms are still mild. I take Paxlovid to avoid complications,” he explains about his current condition.

Karl Lauterbach has been the target of corona deniers for years due to his office and function and has been showered with hate messages by them. This is apparently also the case since it became known that he too has now been infected. He also comments on that in his post: “I would like to thank everyone for the many good wishes,” he writes and further: “Hate and baseness, also happens, are ignored.”
Incidentally, Paxlovid is also the drug with which US President Jo Biden (79) was treated a few days ago for his corona infection.
