Not only do numerous prominent colleagues mourn Kasia Lenhardt, ProSieben also wants to "commemorate the former candidate in an appropriate manner" in today's program "Germany’s Next Top Model".

The news of the death of the 25-year-old model Kasia Lenhardt caused great horror on Wednesday (February 10). The "Germany’s Next Top Model" candidate from 2012 was found lifeless in her apartment the day before around 8:30 p.m., there is no evidence of third-party fault. One thing is certain: the police were called that evening "on suspicion of suicide".

While numerous celebrity friends – including many from GNTM such as Sara Kulka, 30, and Lovelyn Enebechi, 24, mourn the ex-girlfriend of Jérôme Boateng, 32, in the social networks, the TV station also wants the casting show Remember Kasia.

ProSieben commemorates Kasia Lenhardt

Because even if the native Polish appeared in other TV formats like "Hell's Kitchen" and "Models im Babyglück" after her fourth place at GNTM and walked over some red carpets, her career as a public figure started in the seventh season the model show. Just continue like this and let the second episode run normally on Thursday (February 11), that's why ProSieben does not want that either.

According to the statement on Twitter, in which the station expressed its deep sadness and sympathy, there should be a kind of memory of Kasia during the broadcast. How exactly this will look is not yet clear. Actually, today's episode has already been produced. But GNTM spokeswoman Tina Land promised "t-online.de": "We will commemorate Kasia Lenhardt in an appropriate manner."

However, this memory is likely to be kept quite small. "We are very sad and have expressed our condolences on social networks. Kasia's family asked for media restraint. We respect this wish," Tina Land told GALA.
