Kate and William share a gorgeous photo of Charlotte

A photo that delights fans of the royal family. To defend an important cause, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared an adorable snapshot of their daughter, Princess Charlotte.

A young princess committed to nature. This Saturday, August 7, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge pleased their followers by sharing a new photo of their daughter Charlotte. But that’s not the only reason Kate and William posted this snapshot of their 6-year-old daughter. It is also to inform about an important cause, the preservation of butterflies.

In this gorgeous photo, Princess Charlotte has her hair loose and is in the middle of a garden. The sister of princes George and Louis displays a very concentrated look, and for good reason: she holds in the hollow of her hands a sublime butterfly, a Vulcan, or “Red Admiral” in English. In parallel, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared two other pictures of butterflies nestled in the heart of nature.

These three images relayed on Instagram are an opportunity for the royal couple to highlight the Butterfly Conservation association, which fights for the preservation of butterflies, moths and nature. This British charity committed to the environment raises awareness of this cause all year round, and in particular in the summer, when these insects can be observed, by encouraging the population to “count butterflies”.

“Butterfly Conservation encourages us to count these incredible creatures because they are not only beautiful creatures to be around, but they are also extremely important. Butterflies are vital members of the ecosystem as pollinators and components of the food chain.”, thus explain the Cambridge. Through Princess Charlotte, the association found an adorable ambassador!
