Kate Middleton facing cancer: these loved ones who will be there for George, Charlotte and Louis

Kate Middleton has decided to break her silence after months of speculation regarding her state of health following her abdominal operation at the London Clinic last January. This Friday, March 22, in a moving video shared on social networks, the Princess of Wales revealed that she had cancer without specifying its nature. Prince William’s wife also announced that she had started a “preventive chemotherapy”.

In order to protect her children, George, Charlotte and Louis, as much as possible, Kate Middleton decided to wait for the right moment to announce her illness to them. In order not to disturb them, the princess preferred to wait until the Easter holidays approached. In her message, she also indicated that she had explained to them “in a suitable way, and to reassure them that everything will be fine”. Fortunately, to overcome the shock of the diagnosis and to change the children’s ideas, Kate Middleton can count on the unfailing support of those close to her. Because, in addition to the unwavering support of Prince William, she will be able to count on her parents Carole and Michael, her sister Pipa, but also her brother James, and nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

There is no doubt that she will be able to count on her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who live only a few minutes from Windsor. Since Kate Middleton’s hospitalization last January, they have also made sure to lighten their schedules in order to be more present alongside their daughter. “The Middletons are a very close family and Carole is a very involved grandmother”, explained Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Majestynear Hello !. The Princess of Wales’ sister, Pippa Middleton, could also be of great help. According to the journalist, if she already has to take care of her own children, she is sure that she will propose to Kate’s children “to come and have tea or that sort of thing”. Finally, she will be able to count on her brother James Middleton. The latter also showed his support through a touching publication on his Instagram account. “Over the years we have climbed many mountains together. Like a family, we’ll climb this one with you too“, he wrote, in the caption of a souvenir photo in which we see Kate Middleton and her little brother, children, in the great outdoors. A family united in the ordeal.

The unfailing support of Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo

As a nanny, Maria Teressa Turrion Borrallo will be keen to support the family, but especially George, Charlotte and Louis, in order to make them smile again. Recruited by the Prince and Princess of Wales in 2013, a few months after the birth of Prince George, she never left the couple again. Since then, this nanny of Spanish origin has devoted her life to the education of the children of Kate Middleton and Prince William, with whom she had the time to build bonds. It must be said that she went to a good school, being trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath. Thanks to his experience, he will undoubtedly know how to support the children of the royal couple during this difficult period.

Having William by my side is a source of comfort, because he reassures me”, Kate Middleton said through the video. As soon as his wife was hospitalized last January, Prince William did not hesitate to cancel his royal commitments to go to his wife’s bedside. At home, it was the eldest son of Charles III who looked after their children in order to preserve them as much as possible during this complicated period, and maintain a minimum of normality. Faced with media pressure, he also ensured that his wife continued her convalescence in complete peace. “I heard they’re off to Sandringham until next week to recover”, said Ailsa Anderson, the Queen’s former press secretary, in an exchange with GB News. “And I think he’ll try to give her all the space she needs to recover”, she clarified. He should therefore take care of their three children as much as possible, as he already did when his wife was hospitalized at the London Clinic, so that the latter could rest.
