This is an event that is eagerly awaited by Londoners. This Sunday, February 19, took place the 76th ceremony of the British Academy Film Awards. Many stars were present, including Julianne Moore, Florence Pugh or Cate Blanchett. There was also Kate Middleton and Prince William, who made a very noticeable appearance. The royal couple had not attended for two years and their presence was eagerly awaited. During this event, both had opted for very elegant outfits. If the Duke of Cambridge wore a black suit with a velvet blazer, his wife had, for her part, sported a gorgeous white one-shoulder dress. This one was signed Jenny Packham and she accompanied the whole a pair of long black gloves and of flower earrings from the Zara brand. A model that recalled the one she had worn in 2011, for her first visit but also in 2019. The return of the Cambridges was highly anticipated. It had been three years since they had participated in this special evening, that Prince William is particularly fond of. In 2020, it was the Covid-19 that prevented them from making the trip. The following year, it was the worrying state of health of Prince Philip, who died in April 2021 and for the 2022 ceremony, the Cambridges had a problem with their agenda. For this new edition, Kensington Palace announced their arrival on February 10. As a reminder, Prince William is the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), which rewards both cinema and television. Thus, when he can, it is with joy that the Duke of Cambridge makes the trip, alongside his wife, for these ceremonies.
