Actress Katharina Matz died at the age of 90. Most recently, the theater star was seen in a Berlin "crime scene", among other places.
In "Tatort: A few words after midnight" (October 2020) with Berlin investigators Rubin and Karow, she shone in the role of the demented wife of the dead building contractor with the terrible Hitler Youth past. Now actress Katharina Matz (1930-2021) died on Wednesday at the age of 90 in Berlin, as the BR reports.
The artist, who was born in Haindorf in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), was also a celebrated theater star and was part of the ensemble of the Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the German Theater in Berlin. "Katja Matz had the ability to follow paths, not to know, simply to remain curious, also about people", wrote Ulrich Khuon, the director in an obituary from which the "Tagesschau" quotes, about the deceased.
