On Monday evening (May 6th), the Met Gala attracted celebrities to New York. However, Katherine Schwarzenegger was not there.

At this year’s The theme of the Met Gala on May 6th was “A Garden of Time”. The looks of the celebrities who walked the prestigious red carpet were correspondingly colorful and eye-catching. Katherine Schwarzenegger (34) wasn’t there – and doesn’t like her colleagues’ outfits either. In one of her Instagram stories, she made a nasty comment about the event.

“When the Met Gala was still chic and stylish,” the author wrote online about a photo that shows her mother Maria Shriver (68) at the event in 2001. In the picture she is seen in a silk, light blue robe with the matching scarf and diamond-studded jewelry.

The ex-wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger (76) previously took the snapshot herself on her social media account published. “It’s the first Monday in May and the Met Gala is underway! Things were a little quieter when I attended in 2001, but I thought I’d share a few photos from this wonderful evening,” the caption read .

The Met Gala has been held in May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City since 1973. Every year, fashion fans from all over the world look forward to the event, where celebrities outdo each other with extravagant outfits. In 2024, the spectacular looks of Zendaya (27), Kim Kardashian (43) and Tyla (22) were particularly discussed.
