The decision for mother Katie Price was difficult: Her autistic son Harvey will soon be living in an assisted living facility.

The decision was not easy for her, but Katie Price (42) made her for the well-being of her child: Son Harvey (18), who suffers from autistic behavior, a visual impairment, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome, will soon be cared for in one College dorm live. "It breaks my heart. I don't want Harvey to think that I just want to get rid of him," Price explains in an interview with "The Sun". But this is his chance to lead an independent life, to learn skills and to come into contact with people other than his mother, says the mother of five.

"It's so bad knowing that I won't see him every day, but that's for Harvey's best and we have to think positively," Price continued. The family has been attending colleges for children with autism and learning disabilities for six months and is now hoping that Harvey can be placed in her first choice later this year. You now have to learn to let go, says Price, who has an "incredible bond" with her son. "When he goes to college, he'll learn to be an adult. He's now saying, 'Mom, I'm not a boy, I'm a man.'"

His siblings were very happy for their brother, says the 42-year-old. "You really want to follow his progress, but you will also miss him very much." Harvey comes from his mother's previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, 49.
