Kattia Vides (33) married the politician Patrick Weilbach in Kassel on July 31, how the “Bild am Sonntag” and RTL report. “It was just beautiful, very emotional. I can’t really describe what I’m feeling right now,” Vides explains to the broadcaster and speaks of a “roller coaster of emotions”. She was “overjoyed”. When his bride entered the room and Weilbach saw her for the first time, he “actually came to tears”, even if he is otherwise “more of a rational person,” he says.

Vides became known in 2017 as a participant in the seventh season of “The Bachelor”, but did not meet the then bachelor Sebastian Pannek (35) on the dating show. In 2018 she also took part in the jungle camp. At that time there were already reports that she was in a relationship with Weilbach, but Vides still insisted that she was single.

More excited than before the jungle camp!

In February Vides then confirmed RTLthat she wanted to say yes to her partner at the end of July. Even then it was clear that the couple would “but only get married in the smallest family circle”. Since the two did not yet know how the corona situation would develop at this point in time, they wanted to “play it safe first,” explained Weilbach. So now only a few family members and close friends were allowed to go to the registry office. There was also a celebration, but the mood was “a bit clouded”, as the politician explains to the broadcaster. For example, not all relatives, only Vides’ brother and mother, were able to arrive. The couple is “really happy”, but the two “would of course have liked to celebrate with even more people”.

“Before the jungle camp, I wasn’t as excited as I was before the wedding,” jokes Vides in an interview with the Sunday newspaper. But what’s next? The 33-year-old explains that the two “definitely want to have children” – and that “as soon as possible,” as her husband adds.
